No longer a pushover (Noelle and Cedric)

Chapter 220

Every time Xenia appeared, Noelle's life was inevitably affected. Her mood became increasingly agitated.

At that moment, her phone rang. It was a message from Frank. "Noelle, I'm outside Yole University and bought some daily necessities for you. Are you free to come out and pick them up?"

Noelle's frustration surged, and she really didn't want to see anyone from the Liddell family. She replied directly, "No need. Give them to Xenia."

Frank stood by his car, initially pleased to see Noelle's message, but a bitter smile appeared when he read her reply. It seemed that she wasn't ready to forgive him.

Xenia was planning to return to Aldoria to retake her exams and would not be staying in Yasnia, so there was no need to give her these things.

He stood outside Yole University for a while, feeling conflicted. He knew Noelle was inside, but he didn't dare approach her, afraid it would make her resent him even more. He hadn't expected her to be so outstanding or make it into Yole University!

She was so exceptional, but he had neglected her, focusing instead on Xenia. Just as Frank was about to leave, he saw a group of students in blue uniforms walking out of Yole University. One of them looked very familiar.

His facial expression changed slightly. "Xenia, what are you doing here?"

Xenia's face turned awkward for a moment. Nervous, she quickly ran up to Frank and asked, "Frank, what are you doing here?"

"I should be asking you that. Why didn't you go back to retake your exam? What are you doing at Yole University, wearing a business school uniform?"

Xenia replied softly, "It was Donovan's arrangement. He said I didn't need to retake the exam since I wouldn't get into a good university anyway.

"Instead, I should make some connections at the business school. It'll be good for my future."

Frank was upset. "The business school is where the heirs and heiresses of Yasnia's elite families gather. What are you doing there? How will that help your future?"

Her eyes reddened, but in her heart, she had already decided. She would never return to that poor place.noveldrama

She would stay in Yasnia, and with Donovan's help, she could marry into a wealthy family. She had no interest in living a poor life.

He frowned. "Come with me. I'll talk to Donovan about this."

"Frank, I know my position, but I have my own plans. I don't want to go back to retake the exam. My classmates are still waiting for me. I'm leaving now."

With that, Xenia ran off. She still had to build relationships with the heirs and heiresses from the business

school. She wasn't going to give up this hard-earned opportunity

Frank watched Xenia's back as he dialed Donovan's number. "Donovan, why is Xenia in the business school? She was supposed to retake the exam."

"It's my arrangement. Going to business school will be beneficial for her."

"But didn't you say the business school slot was reserved for Noelle?"

At the time, Noelle's grades weren't excellent, and Donovan mentioned the business school. But now, Noelle had made it into Yole University on her own.

"Yes, the business school slot was indeed for Noelle."

Donovan snorted coldly. "But look at her: she's severed ties with the

family and even caused the entire group's system to collapse. What makes her worthy of the good treatment the Liddell family has given her?"

Frank felt a lump in his throat. It was a feeling he couldn't quite

express a deep sadness. He

glanced at the message Noelle had

sent earlier and figured she must have already learned about Xenia's involvement in the business school.

Back in the dorm, Noelle opened her phone and saw that her classmates had discussed the earlier situation where the business school had isolated her.

Jessica and Grace also walked in. The atmosphere in the dorm became awkward.

Jessica was a little dissatisfied. "What a disaster, being stuck in the same dorm as some people! Can't she just apologize?"

Noelle suddenly pulled out her chair, making a harsh screeching sound. She lifted her gaze, her eyes blazing with frustration.
