Samantha sneered at Noelle. "Oh, it's you. This afternoon, you were so dismissive of the business school, and you just walked away without even apologizing!"

After she spoke, the other heirs and heiresses turned their attention to Noelle. "So, this woman looked down on our business school? Bold move, baby girl." "Tsk... Typical country bumpkin. She reeks of poverty from head to toe!"

Samantha approached Noelle and said, "If you kneel and apologize right now, maybe we'll consider letting you off the hook."

Xenia felt a surge of excitement upon seeing this. She pretended to be concerned. "Just apologize, or your life here will be unbearable. I'm doing this for your own good."

Noelle had offended the heirs and heiresses of the business school, and her days ahead would be miserable. Noelle raised an eyebrow and said dismissively, "I didn't say anything wrong, so why should I apologize?"

The other students started distancing themselves from Noelle.

Samantha glared at Jessica and Grace, seething with anger. "You two are roommates with Noelle, right? Don't get too close to her from now on, or I won't spare you."

Jessica nodded quickly, terrified.

"So what if she's an orphan? I gave her a chance, but she didn't appreciate it. Who's to blame for that?"

Samantha had never been humiliated like this in her life.

Xenia looked at Grace with surprise. "Did Noelle say she's an orphan?"

It seemed that Noelle really wanted to sever her ties with the Liddell family; she hadn't even mentioned them. This was actually a good thing for Xenia.

Xenia sighed dramatically. "Noelle's personality has been like this since high school: Her classmates always isolated her. But since she had good grades and the teachers protected her, no one could do anything to her."
