No longer a pushover (Noelle and Cedric)

Chapter 221

When Noelle stood up, the atmosphere in the dorm became tense.

Jessica was startled. "What... what do you want to do? I didn't say anything wrong. How could someone like you, from a poor background, afford to offend those heirs and heiresses?"

Grace quickly intervened, "We're all classmates and roommates; let's not make things awkward."

"Hmph! Ms. Merlock said if we get too close to Noelle, she won't let us off," Jessica muttered in defeat as she grabbed her toiletries and went to the balcony.

It was only then that Noelle sat down and organized her textbooks. In her past life, she had also studied computer science, so these foundational courses were actually quite easy for her.

The next day, she walked to class alone, her textbooks in hand. As she walked, she felt people staring at her and whispering. She didn't mind too much—after all, in her past life, she had been isolated because of Xenia. But when Noelle reached the classroom door, she suddenly sensed something.

She glanced up at the slightly ajar door and kicked it open. The next moment, a water bucket fell from the door.

Quickly, she dodged it, but the students inside, who had been watching, weren't so lucky. Water splashed everywhere.

Screams filled the room.

"Oh my god! The dirty water got on my clothes!"

"Ugh! This is a limited edition skirt; I just bought it!"

Noelle walked into the classroom leisurely, seeing Samantha and Xenia in a messy state. A smug, mocking expression appeared on her face.

Their tricks were so childish. She guessed it was probably Xenia's idea.

Furious, Samantha snapped, "Hey, country bumpkin! You ruined our clothes; prepare to pay up!"

"Yeah, if you don't have money, you can work for us to pay off your debt!"

Noelle's gaze darkened. "I have no money, and there will be no compensation. If you're not happy, go ahead and sue me."

Did they really think she could be

intimidated by such childish schemes? She used to be a pampered heiress, and these petty tricks were nothing to her. She wasn't going to be scared off by

their words.

Stomping her foot in anger, Samantha said, "Fine! Just you wait!"noveldrama

She had initially come to watch the drama unfold, but now she had failed and

gotten soaked in dirty water. It was disgusting!

Xenia didn't care about anything else and followed her out of the classroom. "Samantha, I didn't expect Noelle to notice."

She slapped Xenia across the face. "It's your terrible idea that messed everything up. Look at what's happened to us!"

"It's no wonder you're from the same place as that country bumpkin; you're both equally stupid!"

Xenia immediately covered her face, her eyes brimming with tears. But Samantha, who was still fuming, walked off, and the others ignored Xenia, following her out.

Xenia stood there, feeling humiliated and angry. Once she had firmly established herself in this circle, she would repay the humiliation she endured today a hundredfold.

"Seems like playing the lackey didn't work out well for you, either." Noelle's voice came from the door She stood with her arms crossed, a look of disdain in her eyes, watching Xenia get slapped but not daring to do anything.

Xenia noticed Noelle watching and angrily lowered her hand. "You're lucky this time!"

"Tsk tsk... I'll always be this lucky from now on. As for you, I'm not sure if you'll always be so lucky," Noelle responded coolly.

"Hmph! Donovan will pave the way

for me. I'live better than you and marry better than you. As for you, you'll be stuck with that poor school doctor forever, living an ordinary, lowly life!"

Xenia's mood soured even more. She could only find a sense of existence by insulting Noelle.

Noelle watched the bitch in a mess, and for the first time in a while, she felt much better. Even Xenia seemed to have a tough time pleasing those heirs and heiresses.

After Noelle returned to the classroom, a cleaning lady mopped up the spilled water. Everything returned to normal, as though nothing had happened.

When Noelle went to find a seat, several empty spots were available, but they were all taken.

"Sorry. Someone's sitting here." She could sense it clearly-she had been isolated.
