Matthew was initially annoyed with Gavin, but now he felt sorry for him. "You should get what's going on by now."

Gavin frowned. "Do you think maybe she's happy because she won some money?"

Matthew was at a loss for words. He wasn't friends with Gavin, and they even had some bad blood between them. Talking about something so personal just didn't feel right.

After a pause, Matthew added, "Honestly, if you play dumb and act like you don't know anything, it'll all be forgotten."

Gavin flushed with anger. "I'm just afraid of accusing her wrongly. If Braylen isn't my child, I'm getting a divorce. I can't spend my whole life supporting another man's son. I'm not an idiot."

The more he talked, the more worked up he got. He even seemed to be on the verge of breaking down.

Matthew thought for a moment before remarking, "Honestly, you already know the answer. If you're still not convinced, just get a DNA test. Having it in black and white will be a solid proof.

"I need to go now. Don't forget that Braylen needs to say sorry to Lorraine." After saying goodbye to Gavin, Matthew drove off to Wealthwave Group.

At the president's office of Wealthwave Group, Rachel looked troubled. "My parents stop at nothing to set me up with Talon. I'm about to lose my mind."

Tracy chuckled and said, "I remember Talon liked you back in high school. He even asked me a few times to pass the notes to you, but I just ignored him." Rachel snorted. "Stop laughing at me. Can you help me figure out a solution?" Tracy replied with a grin, "It's simple. When you meet Talon, just tell him that he has a bad personality and isn't your type, so you don't like him at all."

Rachel was annoyed. "Stop pulling my leg. The Kimble family isn't one to be messed with. I don't want to make enemies for the Carter family."

Tracy pondered for a second and replied, "I've got an idea. I believe Matthew is pretty capable. Let him handle it."

Rachel shook her head. "I don't want to add to his problem anymore. He's risked his life fighting against Sheldon and has fallen out with Isaac, making enemies with the Wood family.

"He is pretty good in fights, but he lacks connection and can't stand up to the Kimble family, who have influence everywhere. Going up against them would be disastrous for him."

Smiling, Tracy teased, "Now that Matthew has won you over, you're starting to worry about him too."

Rachel blushed. "Cut it out."

Just then, someone knocked on the door.

Rachel responded, "Come in."

As the door opened, a janitor walked in and said with a smile, "I'm here to empty the trash can, Ms. Carter."

Rachel suddenly remembered the used tissue from yesterday was still in the trash can, so she hurriedly stopped the janitor.

"Never mind. You don't need to clean the trash can. I'll take care of it myself later."

The janitor was taken aback. "How can I let you do cleaning, Ms. Carter? I'll handle it."

Rachel felt diffident and anxious. "I've already said you don't need to clean. Can't you see I'm in the middle of a conversation with my friend? Get out."

Seeing Rachel lose her cool, the janitor was too scared to say anything else, so she hurried out in a panic. Just as Rachel felt relieved, she turned to Tracy, only to see Tracy making her way to the trash can.

Rachel quickly shouted, "What are you doing, Tracy?"noveldrama

Tracy glanced at the trash can and noticed it was filled with crumpled-up tissues that were used. On top of that, there was a ton of it. Half of the trash can was just tissues.

She jabbed her finger at Rachel. "You've always been so pure and innocent, Rachel. I used to encourage you to experience what it's like to be with a guy, but you acted all superior and scoffed at the idea. I can't imagine you're so wild. This is the office, you know."
