The Great Medical Saint

Chapter 612

When Matthew told Gavin that he was infertile and Braylen wasn't his, he got really pissed off. "What are you getting at? How dare you insult me?"

Matthew nonchalantly responded, "With Cryonephritis, your lower back feels icy all year round. When it gets cold, you start to feel some pain in your lower back. When it gets terrible, you can't even get intimate. Am I right?"

Gavin was about to take a swing at Matthew. When he heard that, he stopped in his tracks, realizing Matthew was right about everything.

Matthew sounded like he'd actually seen Gavin's condition with his own eyes. He looked at Matthew with shock.

"How do you know? Did your daughter get a scoop on my health from Braylen? Otherwise, there's no way you'd know all this."

Matthew coldly remarked, "Braylen is so young. Does he even know you can't be intimate sometimes? Just accept it. Your wife has cheated on you."

Gavin snapped, "How dare you insult me? I'm going to fuck you up."

Cursing angrily, Gavin rushed up to Matthew and hurled a punch at Matthew's face.noveldrama

Just as the punch was about to land on Matthew's face, a dull thud rang out. Gavin felt a heavy impact on his stomach. Then, he was knocked back six feet before hitting the ground hard. He held his belly with his face twisted in agony. Matthew huffed. "You should be thanking for me telling you the truth. The person insulting you is the man who slept with your wife."

After saying that, Matthew noticed the other parents, who had come to pick up their kids, looking at him. He leaned down and picked up Lorraine before walking away.

With his abdomen in pain, Gavin's face was all contorted. After he started to recover a bit, he couldn't help but think about the phrase he couldn't shake off in his mind.

"The person insulting you is the one who slept with your wife."

At this point, Gavin realized the gravity of the situation. Looking closely at Braylen, he noticed Braylen was pudgy, with big front teeth and small eyes. Braylen looked nothing like him at all.

A chill ran through Gavin. He knew he couldn't waste time arguing with Matthew anymore and rushed home to confront his wife.

At Silverbrook Village, Lorraine sobbed and asked worriedly, "Since you got into a fight with Mr. Hostetler, will the police come and take you away? I'm scared."

Feeling Lorraine trembling in his arms, Matthew sensed her concern and regretted getting physical.

"Mr. Hostetler started it just now, so the police aren't going to arrest me.

Lorraine wiped away her tears. "Really?"

Smiling, Matthew replied, "Yes. I won't lie to you. We'll be home soon. Just don't tell your grandpa and your grandma about the fight with the other parent."

With tears on her face, Lorraine giggled, looking like a grown-up who knew it all. "I understand. You're afraid of getting into trouble with Grandpa and Grandma. I can keep this between us, but you have to promise me one thing."

Matthew curiously asked, "What would that be?"

Lorraine gazed at Matthew. "You've to pick me up from school tomorrow, Dad."

Matthew was already guilt-ridden, so hearing Lorraine say that made him feel even worse. "You got it. I'll be there to pick you up after school tomorrow." Lorraine continued, "Also, you can't fight with Mr. Hostetler again tomorrow." Matthew nodded. "Okay. I won't fight with Gavin again."

As they chatted, they eventually made their way inside the yard.

Upon hearing their chatter, Lillian came out of the kitchen and spotted Matthew. "Hurry up and wash your hands. It's time to eat. I made spaghetti bolognese."

After Matthew helped Lorraine wash her hands, they went to the dining room and saw four plates of spaghetti bolognese on the table. One serving was smaller than the rest, and they were all steaming hot.

The room was filled with the aroma of tomato and spaghetti. Matthew felt his appetite kick in. He could never get enough of Lillian's pasta.

Lillian took a few bites and started, "Jennifer..."
