Be Your Lover Forever (Alicia)

Chapter 1694

Very straightforwardly, he nodded. "No problem, I'll get it done in no time!"

Picking up the phone, Carson made a phone call, followed by a nurse entering the office. "Doctor Vives..."

"Take this to conduct a DNA test and send it to my desk as soon as possible!"noveldrama

Watching the nurse leave the room, Victoria fiddled with her handbag and stood up with great anxiety. "Will-will there be any mistake?"

"Ha ha..."

Laughing, Carson got onto his feet and poured her a glass of water.

"No! Don't worry, all the samples will be labeled with marks before they were sent to the laboratory. The professionals will be responsible for it. It will all be manually verified. There is no mistake! When the results are released, you can conduct another test if you have any doubts! The probability of mistakes is basically zero!"

"Will there be results in a few days?"

"Are you in a hurry? I'm sure it will be ready in three days! I'll call you if the results are released..."

Victoria shook her head for fear that Carson would notice something amiss if she was too anxious. "It's not true! I'm sorry to cause you trouble, Master Vives. Thank you!"

When Victoria exited the hospital, she didn't feel relaxed in the slightest. Instead, she felt the agitation and annoyance of growing up once more. When she was a child, she always wanted to grow up soon. Everything would be all right when she was a grown-up. In fact, the happiest period in a person's life was a carefree childhood. Unfortunately, she couldn't turn back in time by the time she realized it! Perhaps because she had something in mind, Victoria drove to the company while her mind was in a daze. For a long time, she was either absent-minded or in a trance staring at bills. Staring at the bills for half an hour, she did not remember to sign them. Instead, she would only remember to sign the documents upon receiving a prompt call from the financial department.

When the bill was taken away and her hands were empty, her thoughts went blank once more. Her eyes drifted around, but she was in a trance and was at a loss of what to do.

Getting up, she turned to the coffee machine on one side. When she came to herself, the coffee she poured was covered with a thin layer of foam. After taking a sip, she placed the cup back in its original position.

"Alas..."

She clearly knew that she was incapable of changing anything, so why was she constantly thinking about it?

In a terrible mood, she packed up. Victoria drove out of the door and turned to the shopping mall. As she wandered back and forth in the shopping mall, she wouldn't give it much thought whenever she ran into anything she took a fancy to by making impulsive purchases. After a while, a few large bags appeared in her hand. When she turned around, she didn't even have a free hand to buy a drink.

She wanted to eat fish balls, taro balls, ice cream, hamburgers, milk tea...

As she walked all the way through the snack store on both sides of the stairs, Victoria seemed to see countless delicious foods hovering before her eyes. At the moment she raised her hand, she sensed her whole arm aching, so she headed to the lower floor and went straight to the parking lot.

After putting the items aside, Victoria had just locked the car when she turned around to see Anthony holding a young and

beautiful girl in his arms and walking all the way to the entrance of the mall. The woman was dressed in casual clothes, the beige slim top she wore matching a loose same- colored skirt. Her long black hair swayed behind her shoulders as she carried a bag that was slanted over her body. She wore a pair of nearly flat fashionable shoes, showing her slender ankles. Right then, the woman was leaning into Anthony. Not knowing what they were talking about, she would see the woman coming up to Anthony from time to time. They would then kiss and whisper in a quiet and sparsely populated corner, creating beautiful scenery.

Looking at the figure in the distance, Victoria grew briefly absent-minded. The woman's figure and dress resembled her from the past! In the past, she loved dressing up in such a style. It was comfortable and could bring out her gentleness!

When they were together, Anthony had always been casually dressed. It would all be casual shirts with pants or jeans. That day, he was wearing a suit, which added to his formality. It seemed that he was skippingwork! Seeing the two standing side by side reminded her of them in the past. The only difference was that when she had been with Anthony, he had always been holding her hand or embracing her, whereas the woman right before her was obviously lowly trying to please him. The

appearance of the two gave her the illusion that the woman was the one

taking the initiative to flirt and

attempt to please him.

Perhaps Anthony had loved her, but it was a pity that the wrong step led them to

the current situation they were in. As she recalled all of it that day, it seemed to be less important than before.

It was a fact that had happened but could not be changed. Only by letting herself go would she be letting go of the past!

In the past, there was always a knot in her heart. She hated that she did not live a comfortable life in the past two years.

After reflecting on it, it was more pleasant to accept and face reality right then. Even if there were such twists and turns with Trevor, Victoria vaguely felt that in any case, she should be able to handle it and even accept the destined fate!

Raising her foot, she took large strides to chase after him.

Since she ran into him, she would take the initiative to say hello. He should understand what she meant.

After re-entering the mall, Victoria went up to the fourth floor, but she lost track of them. Just then, she clearly saw the elevator stopping on that floor. Did she miss out when they stopped at a different floor?

The man brought a woman over to either go shopping or for a meal. It was too early for a meal. If they went shopping, there were branded clothes on the first floor and bags on the third floor. At the thought of it, she began to descend the stairs. Anyway, she could also visit the snack area on the second floor. It was best if she could meet them, and it was fine if she didn't.

She bought some snacks on the second floor and ordered a cup of float. As Victoria sucked on the

straw, she went down the stairs

Halfway through, she saw familiar figures walking out of a clothing store. Picking up speed, she witnessed Anthony leading the woman to turn a corner as soon as

she stepped onto the last step of the

stairs. Their eyes met, so Victoria raised her hand.

"Hi, what a coincidence!"

Just as Victoria pondered on what she should continue saying, she saw Anthony

turn around and leave with the woman in an instant before she could react.

Ignored on the spot, Victoria was stunned.

Would she be ignored if she took the initiative to greet him?

After all, they had been together for some time. The eyes and footsteps just then

were an implication of him feeling disgusted and wanting to leave coldly and

urgently!

Was it because his girlfriend was around?

Yet, all she wanted to do was to resolve the hatred between them!

She was initially in a bad mood. After being fooled around by Anthony, Victoria

tasted the feeling of having her kindness being regarded as malice. She was asking for trouble!

She turned around. Just as she was about to leave, she heard a thunderclap behind her...
