The Great Medical Saint

Rachel cried even harder. Even now, Matthew was still thinking about her.

They stood at the elevator entrance. Just as the doors were about to close, they sensed something in the way and reopened. It kept opening and closing repeatedly, with the elevator beeping non-stop.

Tracy felt conflicted. Matthe had come back alive, but the first thing he did was hold Rachel.

Jealousy flared up inside her. She wanted nothing more than to pull Matthew away and have Rachel crying in her embrace instead. But she kept her composure and held back.

She interrupted to remind them, "You two need to stop it. The elevator doors aren't closing. Watch out, or an accident might happen."

Only then did Rachel recall that Tracy was standing nearby. She pulled away from Matthew's arms and stepped out of the elevator.

Matthew was lost. "What's going on? Why did you suddenly start crying? Did something happen?"

With tears still on her face, Rachel managed a smile. "Tracy showed me a video of Wealthstone Building on fire just now. I thought you were inside, and I was scared."

It dawned on Matthew that Rachel had actually cried because of him.

A warm feeling spread in his heart. Looking at Rachel's tear-streaked face, he couldn't help but like her even more. "You're overthinking it. I just had a quick chat with them and then came back. The Fuller family agreed to drop the charges."

Did they really agree?

Rachel was surprised. "Were there any demands? Did they go along with it so easily?"

Matthew realized he had to come up with another story. Otherwise, there would be no way to explain today's

company. After learning my story, he joined me at Wealthstone Building. Surprisingly, the Fuller family backed down when they saw my friend. I didn't expect things to go so smoothly."

Rachel furrowed her brows together. "The Fullers have a lot of influence and pay for advertisements in all the major newspapers. There's no way a single reporter is enough to scare them off. That's just not like them."

Matthew didn't want Rachel to think too much about it. The story was fake and would fall apart if examined closely. "My friend has a lot of connections. Let's head back to the office, and I'll explain everything."

Rachel nodded and turned back to the office. Tracy watched them leave, standing there dumbfounded.

As soon as Rachel saw Matthew, she totally forgot Tracy was even there and just walked off.

The more Tracy dwelled on it, the more irritated she became. In the

end, she followed them to the president's office while muttering to herself "Rae is mine, Matthew. Even though you're back, it doesn't change anything. Rae is meant to be with me forever."

As Tracy spoke, she arrived at the president's office and tried to push open the door. The door shook a little, but it didn't budge.

What the hell? Tracy's eyes were wide open.

The door was locked from the inside. Why would they lock themselves in during the day? They had to be doing something indecent again.

Thinking about this, Tracy clenched her teeth. Rae belonged to her, but Matthew was messing with her right now.

The more she thought about it, the angrier she became. Without thinking, she raised her hand and banged on the door.
