Davina's eyes scanned over Thomas and Kate. "With a daughter like that, don't you think it's time you take a long, hard look at yourselves?" she remarked, her voice cutting through the tension.
She ignored the glares from the entire Summers, her lips curling into a faint, knowing smile. Though, to be honest, I never expected much from you lot
The shock from the earlier wine incident hadn't even settled when Davina hit them with another blow-insulting them all. one after another.
The people nearby couldn't hide their surprise,
Barlow Group's heiress is certainly no stranger to making waves, huh?
Yet, strangely, there was a palpable sense of satisfaction in the air.
Who wouldn't want to strike back after being humiliated like that in front of so m
many?
This was how the daughters of powerful families should act-assertive, confident, and fearless.
It was downright thrilling to watch!
Clearly. Davina was not the type to back down.
The air around her was charged with power. Her piercing gaze made it feel like each of them had just been slapped.
Her words cut through the Summers like a knife.
Blair's expression stiffened. His eyes turned cold as he quickly tried to calm
Cassia and Ashen, who were visibly seething.
"Ms. Barlow, Mrs. Grace heard that someone here has shown disrespect to Ms. Davina," a maid announced, stepping forward. "She requests that you remove this person from the event. Barlow Group doesn't welcome such individuals."

Sacha gave a nonchalant nod. "Understood. Her gaze then shifted to Thomas, "Mr. Summer, I expect you to keep your family in check. If this continues, and I hear anything out of line, I'll have no choice but to ask you to leave."
Turning to Davina, she said, "Davina, come with me. Jude, Kennedy, you two stay here for now."
Davina flashed a small smile. "Of course."
Jude and Kennedy gave brief, acknowledging nods,
Stella, still reeling from the humiliation and clutching her face, could barely bear the weight of the situation. The stark difference in status between her and Davina, coupled with the slap in the face she had just received, was almost unbearable. She screamed at Davina's retreating back. "Adopted daughters don't count as real daughters! You're just a fake heiress!"
Jude's eyes narrowed, a dangerous glint flashing in them as he turned to Stella. Kennedy frowned too.
The onlookers exchanged uneasy glances, but no one dared speak up. They all shared the same thought. The Summers are Jor
Flow could Stella be so clueless?
And how have they, despite their capable sons, ended up with a daughter who's so completely out of touch
Even the Holts, who usually stuck close to the Summers, were now watching with raised eyebrows.
What's going on with Stella today! Hasn't she always been well-behaved
The Summers looked absolutely stunned.

As soon as Stella spoke, it seemed like the weight of her words hit her. She turned to her parents and brothers, panic setting
"Dad... Mom..."
She opened her mouth to explain, but when she saw their faces, fear overtook her.
Davina stopped in her tracks, turning just as Sacha's anger was about to erupt. She placed a calming hand on Sacha's arm and glanced over her shoulder.
"Ms. Summer, it seems you're fully aware of your status as a fake heiress," Davina's voice rang out, loud and clear. "But don't you think your words might hurt your adoptive parents and brothers?"
She flashed a sly smile.
Sacha's voice, cold and sharp, sliced through the air. "Just because you don't consider yourself a true daughter doesn't mean the Barlows don't consider Davina ours. Take the Summers out of here! We don't entertain unwelcome guests at Barlow Group's events!"
Moments later, a team of tall security guards appeared, escorting the Summers out of the venue.
With her instructions given, Sacha turned and walked away with Davina, leaving the chaos behind them.
Jude shot a mocking glance at Thomas and Kate then at Blair, his lips curling into a sarcastic grin. "What a stroke of luck, having a daughter like that in the Summers."
His tone left no room for doubt-anyone who knew him could hear the mockery in his voice.
Jude had never been one to hold back
With that final remark, he turned on his heel and casually followed Davina, his long strides easily closing the distance.
