Before she could finish her sentence, her phone rang.

She looked down, her face immediately becoming pale. She trembled as she answered, "Hello, honey? Y-Yes, of course. I wouldn't dare! How could I... Is he really a big shot? Alright. I'll apologize right away."

After ending the call, she appeared completely deflated. Looking up at the men, she no longer had her earlier bravado and seemed as timid as a mouse.

"I-I'm very sorry. I didn't know who you were..."

One of the men coldly replied, "Enough with the talk. Pay your fees and clear the room for us. We're hosting foreign investors who have major investments in Welsington City. We can't afford to offend them. Move quickly."
