Please Give Me Another Chance Mrs Hamilton

Brad wished Jean would recover soon. Not wanting her to be depressed, he kept comforting her in hushed tones and telling jokes to cheer her up.

This eased the intense jealousy Jean harbored toward Nadine. The fact that Brad was willing to leave Nadine in the middle of the night to come and see her was enough to show that he truly cared for her.

Relishing his concern for her, Jean smiled.

"Thank you, Brad." She took his hand in hers, which was attached to an IV needle. "There's something I've been wanting to tell you. Now I think I'm ready to say it.

"I left you and Janctera City back then because Mr. Hamilton Senior told me to. It has nothing to do with Nadine. I've misunderstood her."

The moment she brought this up, Brad's expression darkened.

"This has nothing to do with you. You don't have to speak up for her. She doesn't deserve it! Now, go to sleep. The doctor said you need rest."

Brad withdrew his hand and covered Jean's eyes, refusing to let her speak any

more.

Despite having her eyes covered, she flashed a sweet smile at him and said, "Alright. I'll do as you say. You'll stay with me tonight, won't you? If you will, I'll do whatever you say."

Brad patted her back with his other hand. "Alright."

Watching the scene before her in the corner of the room, Lynn whisked out her phone and snapped a photo of the two. Then, she posted it online.

The previous incident where Brad wrapped a woman in his coat at Rose Garden was still trending. Lynn's photo of him keeping Jean company in her ward did nothing but fuel the rumor that he doted on Jean.

It blew up on the internet. Plenty of internet trolls flocked to Nadine's account and began attacking her.

"You're so shameless, Nadine. Do you feel accomplished stealing someone else's man? I bet your mom stole your dad from another woman, huh?"

"Bitch! Give Mr. Hamilton back to Jean! Otherwise, we'll pelt your door with shit and make it stink like crap!"

"Stop ghosting us! Come out and explain how you stole Jean's boyfriend. Enlighten us on how shameless you are!"

"Jean's such a kind soul. Your audacity to steal her man! I dare you to show yourself and let everyone spit on you!"

Nadine had already freed herself with the maid's help. When Brad left earlier, she could tell from his expression that he wouldn't let her off easily. So, she sought help from the maid to untie the fabric binding her limbs.

Fortunately, the maid was perceptive enough to not ask any questions. She merely helped Nadine untie the fabric in silence, and then she left the room promptly.

Nadine got dressed and even put on some light makeup. She headed to the children's room, scooped up her son, who was sleeping soundly, and left Phoenix Villa.

She wouldn't give Brad another chance. At this point, she'd gone through too much to open up again.

The following day was a Monday. After sending Sean to school, Nadine went to work at the hospital.

She was in a good mood today. With her makeup done and a smile on her face, she looked just as youthful as a teenage girl. She didn't look like a mother at all.

Tyler's eyes lit up when he saw how radiant Nadine looked. "Nadine, you look amazing."
