At this moment, Julia was completely stunned, unsure if she was seeing things.

But the way Maggie held Daisy’s hand, the way Harry glanced at Maggie with a smile–everything was crystal clear.

It was undeniable. Maggie really was with Harry and Daisy.

The way they interacted, with Maggie holding Daisy instead of Harry, made it obvious they weren’t meeting for the first time. They had already done this before.

Suddenly, an idea flashed in Julia’s mind. Could it be that Maggie was the “Aunt” Daisy had mentioned many times before?

But… how could that be?

Julia felt it was impossible, yet her mind involuntarily recalled how Harry had approached Maggie during a meeting at Wilson Tech last year.

And recently, at parties, whenever Harry greeted them, he would stay and chat with Maggie for a while,

-rather than leaving immediately like before.

Julia had thought Harry was being polite to Maggie to avoid offending Johnny.

But now…

So, Harry really did like Maggie? No.

It couldn’t be. Julia stood still, still unable to believe it.

Maggie and Harry had known each other for so long. If she were the type he liked, he would’ve fallen for

her long ago, not waited until now.

Moreover, she didn’t think there was anything about Maggie that would attract Harry.

Maybe she was overthinking it. Even if Maggie were really Daisy’s “Aunt,” it didn’t necessarily mean that Harry had fallen for her-

Seeing Julia frozen in place, Logan walked over.

Chapter 253

“Julia, are you alright?” Julia snapped back to her senses and shook her head. “I’m fine.”

“Let’s go inside.” “Okay.”

The next morning, around 8:00 AM, Harry received a call from Maggie.

When he arrived at the address she gave him, she was already waiting for him at the entrance of the

neighborhood, holding the cake and plush toy.

Seeing him, Maggie handed over the cake and plush.

Harry took them and said, “Making a cake takes time, but you’ve already finished so early. You must have woken up pretty early.”

Maggie had indeed woken up at around 4 a.m., but she replied, “I went to bed early last night, so waking up early isn’t a big deal.”

“Thank you,” Harry said, feeling her thoughtfulness for Daisy. His eyes shifted to the middle–class neighborhood behind her. “Are you living here now?”

Previously, he only knew that she had moved out from Franklin’s place, but he didn’t know where she

had relocated to.

–“Yeah.” Maggie replied and added, “I’m in a bit of a hurry, so I’ll head in first.”

“Okay.” Maggie turned and entered the neighborhood.

After watching her retreating figure, Harry withdrew his gaze and got into his car.

Because Isabella wanted to celebrate Daisy’s birthday, Franklin had already reserved a private room at a

restaurant in advance.

When Daisy arrived home after school and saw the cake Maggie had made and the plush toy she had bought, she was ecstatic.

As they headed to the restaurant, she was reluctant to part with the large bunny plush and insisted on taking it with her.

When Harry and Daisy arrived at the restaurant, Franklin, Julia, and Isabella were already there.

Harry pushed open the door, and when Julia saw the bunny plush Daisy was holding, she immediately recognized it as the one Maggie had carried in the mall two days ago.

So the “AuntDaisy had mentioned really was Maggie!

Daisy was overjoyed, and as soon as she entered, she rushed to Isabella to show off the plush toy.

“Isabella, this is the plush my Aunt gave me! Isn’t it cute and beautiful?”

Isabella didn’t actually dislike pink. As long as something was beautiful and cute, she liked it.

Seeing Daisy so excitedly showing it off, Isabella nodded enthusiastically. “It’s really cute and pretty.”

She then handed Daisy the gift she had prepared for her.

After Daisy thanked her, she couldn’t help but add, “My Aunt also made me a cake! It’s blue, and it’s so

beautiful!TM

Daisy, excited, asked Harry to help her open the cake.

Hearing Daisy constantly refer to Maggie as “Aunt,” Levi raised his eyebrows and said, “She’s made the cake for Daisy and bought her a gift. Seems like she’s really putting in effort, Harry. What do you have to say about that?*

Just seeing how Maggie had gotten up so early to bake a cake for Daisy despite her busy schedule, Harry had already felt her care and thoughtfulness.

Though Franklin and Isabella were present, when Levi mentioned Maggie, Harry couldn’t help but show

a warm smile.

If yesterday, Julia had still been unsure whether Harry had truly fallen for Maggie, at this moment, after seeing that tender smile of his, she was now certain: He had indeed fallen for her.

No wonder.

No wonder these past few months, when she called him, he didn’t pick up immediately like before. Sometimes, he wouldn’t pick up at all.

She had thought he was busy, but now… But what was it about Maggie that he liked? noveldrama

Julia bit her lip, still unable to understand. What exactly did Harry see in her?

Seeing Harry’s involuntary smile, Levi immediately picked up on the meaning behind it and teased, “So you’re finally admitting you like her now?

Franklin also smiled slightly as he looked at Harry’s expression. The private room was lively.

After a while, Daisy began to make her wish. Afterward, Harry helped her cut the cake. Isabella was the

first to get a slice.

She took a bite and her eyes lit up. “This is so good!” It tasted just like her mother’s cakes!

Speaking of which, it had been a while since she had seen her mother.

When her birthday came, her mother would probably make her a cake, too, right? Levi didn’t like sweet

things, but after tasting it, he couldn’t help but say,

“It really does taste good. Seems like the other person is quite skilled. Harry, you’re lucky.”

Harry paused slightly at the comment, then glanced at Franklin without leaving any trace. Franklin,

meanwhile, was quietly eating his cake in small bites.

He didn’t say anything. Because he knew it was Maggie’s cake, Julia hadn’t planned to eat it.

But after a moment’s hesitation, she took a bite. To be honest, it did taste quite good.

Hearing Levi’s praise, Julia couldn’t help but sarcastically think: Maybe Harry likes Maggie because she’s the perfect “wife“?

As she thought this, she noticed Harry’s gaze toward Franklin.

Normally, she wouldn’t have thought much about it, but this time, she read something in his eyes.

No matter what, Franklin and Maggie were still married.

So did Harry really feel that having a wife like Maggie was a form of happiness?

Was he envious of Franklin, wishing for him to divorce Maggie so that Harry could officially be with her?

Suddenly, Julia realized that Harry might actually like Maggie far more than she had imagined.
