Divorce LONG 250
They sat down in the audience seats, and the training race was just about to start.
Yves and Jimmy hadn’t been exposed to racing before and didn’t know who to root for.
But after watching for a while, they learned from the commentator that racer #38, CC, along with two other drivers, was a favorite to win the championship.
The important thing was that CC was the only female driver in this race.
This naturally drew the attention of many in the audience, and especially since CC had made two stunning overtakes on curves, drawing gasps from the crowd.
Yves couldn’t help but exclaim, “Damn, she’s bold and so cool!”
Rex knew that Yves didn’t recognize CC as Julia. Hearing Yves’s praise, he smiled subtly, not making it obvious.
CC ranked first in both training races.
Yves was getting excited and said, “Who is this CC? I want to meet her!”
Just as he finished his sentence, CC got out of the car and removed her helmet. When Yves saw the screen and realized that CC was actually Julia, his eyes nearly popped out. “CC is her? This, this-”
After a moment of shock, he quickly became disappointed. “I was thinking of chasing her, but now you’re telling me CC is Franklin’s girlfriend?”
It seemed like he had no chance now!
Thinking this, he slumped down in his seat and couldn’t help but mutter, “So, Franklin has it so good…”
At this moment, Julia saw them.
Seeing Jimmy there too, she was a bit surprised.
She walked over to them and greeted, “Mr. Hardin, Young Master Hall, Young Master Jolly, I didn’t expect you to be interested in racing as well?”
Rex spoke first, saying, “I’ve never been involved before, but after hearing you mention it, we had some

free time today, so we decided to come take a look.”
After speaking, he added, “You drove really well. You ranked first twice. Congratulations.”
Julia smiled. “Thank you.” Jimmy also said, “Congratulations.”
Julia responded with a smile, “Thank you.” She then turned to Jimmy and said, “It’s been a while since I’ve seen you, Young Master Hall. When I saw him from a distance just now, I thought I had mistaken someone else for you.”
Jimmy replied, “Work’s been busy. I don’t get much rest.”
Julia responded, “I heard that you’re a pilot, Jimmy. With you flying fighter jets, doesn’t our race seem a little boring by comparison?”
“Racing has its own charm. I don’t think there’s anything to compare. Besides, Miss Brown, you really drove excellently.”
Upon hearing Jimmy’s compliment, Julia smiled.
Rex seemed to remember something and asked, “By the way, where is Mr. Wilson? Didn’t he come to watch your race?”
–“Franklin had something to do, so he didn’t come. But he will definitely be here when I have my official
race,” Julia replied. “If you’re free then, I’d love for you to come watch.”
Rex replied, “If I’m free, I’ll definitely come.” Rex truly wanted to see her race in person, but since Franklin would be there, he wasn’t sure if he should go…
The next day was Saturday. In the morning, Maggie woke up quite early.
She opened her computer to check some model data. After working for a while, her phone rang.
It was Glen calling.
A few days ago, Glen had proposed an idea at work that she thought had potential. She had allocated some resources for him and had been personally following up on the progress.
Therefore, she and Glen had been in frequent communication about work recently, and they had exchanged phone numbers.
Seeing his call, Maggie assumed it was about work and picked up.
However, Glen wasn’t calling for work–related matters. Instead, he was asking her for recommendations on fun places to visit in the capital.
Maggie said. “What I like may not suit you. Don’t you have friends here in the country? Why not ask them? It’ll be quicker.”
Glen replied, “What they told me isn’t what I’m interested in.”
After saying this, he heard the sound of her typing and asked, “It’s the weekend, and you’re still busy?”
Maggie replied, “Mm.” “Are you going to stay cooped up at home all weekend? Aren’t you going out for a change?
Maggie, still focused on her computer, answered, “I’ll be going with my grandmother to watch a play tonight.”
“A play? What play? Where can I watch it?” “The traditional drama of the capital. You probably won’t like it.”
Glen’s eyes deepened. “That’s not certain. Even though I grew up abroad, I’ve always been interested in domestic culture. I just never had the chance to get in touch with it.”
Maggie, hearing this, decided to tell him more about it. After she explained, Glen quickly bought tickets online.
A while later, his friend contacted him, “Young Master White, are you free tonight? Let’s go out and-”
“No, I have plans tonight.”
After finishing the call with Glen, Maggie was busy until noon before finally taking a break.
She glanced at the calendar and suddenly remembered that Daisy’s birthday was approaching. After a moment of thought, she called Harry.
Harry had always hoped to stay in touch more with Maggie.
Since learning that Glen liked Maggie, he became even more eager to keep in touch.
However, aside from their work together and Daisy, they had no other interactions.
Moreover, he hadn’t needed to visit Col
to contact her.
And with the cooperation between Franklin and Cole, things were more complicated…
Seeing her call, he stopped the action of getting out of the car and immediately answered.
Maggie spoke first: “Mr. Becker, I hope I’m not disturbing you.”
“No,” Harry’s voice softened, “Is something the matter?”
“I wanted to personally prepare a gift for Daisy’s birthday, but I’m a bit worried she might not like it, so I wanted to ask for your opinion.”
Seeing how much she cared for Daisy, Harry’s heart warmed. He replied seriously, “Daisy really likes you. As long as it’s something you put effort into, she will definitely love it.”
Maggie believed that given Daisy’s personality, that was indeed the case.
But… “Do you have something more specific in mind?”
Harry paused and asked, “Can you bake cakes?” “I can,” Maggie replied. “Alright, I got it.”
“No trouble at all. If you run into any issues, feel free to contact me anytime.” “Okay.”
After hanging up, Harry finally got out of the car and entered the restaurant.
When he arrived at the restaurant, Franklin, Julia, Levi, and the others had already arrived.
Levi said, “Why are you so late?” Harry smiled. “I had a call just now.”
Julia looked at Harry and noticed that he seemed to be in an unusually good mood.
Since Jane had started working in his company, she had contacted him several times and invited him for meals, but he had refused every time, citing work as an excuse.
Once or twice, she believed him. But after so many times…
Could it be because she had tried so much to set him up with Sophia that he thought she was contacting him for the same reason, which was why he kept rejecting her?
That evening around 6nm
preparing to head out with Old Lady Miller to watch the play when she suddenly received a call from Nolan.
Nolan: “Are you at the Miller family home now?” Maggie: “Yes.”
“Good. There’s something I need you to take care of. Prepare yourself. Someone will pick you up in ten minutes.”
Maggie: “…Okay.” It sounded like something important, given Nolan’s tone.
Knowing that Nolan needed her, Old Lady Miller told her to go ahead and take care of it. She and Helen could go out together.
Ten minutes later, the car Nolan had sent arrived right on time at the Miller family home.
Once she got in the car, Maggie learned that Nolan needed her to monitor the progress of a project she had authorized the government to open. Nolan had a lot on his plate and couldn’t leave. noveldrama
Maggie, as the person who understood the core technology of the project besides Nolan, was the best person to keep track of the progress.
When they arrived at the base, her phone was immediately taken from her.
For the next two to three days, she was so busy she barely had time to rest.
By the third day, just as she entered the base cafeteria for lunch, Jimmy walked over to her.
What do you think?
