Married for Inheritance-Divorced for Freedom

Chapter 21 Wedding Plans

After the engagement celebrations, Darrian and Hannah visited Grandfather Martin at his charming countryside home. As they sat in the cosy living room, surrounded by old books and flickering candlelight, Grandfather Martin's wise eyes met Darrian's.

"I need to speak with you, Darrian," Grandfather Martin began, his voice gentle yet firm. "I have heard of your intentions to marry Hannah, and I understand that you love her deeply. But I must be honest with you, my boy. This is not the marriage I can support."

Darrian's heart plummeted, a heavyweight of confusion and disappointment settling in his chest. The hope for his grandfather's blessing had been shattered, replaced by the bitter taste of disapproval.

Grandfather Martin was holding his stance."But Grandfather, we have been through so much together," Darrian started, his voice tinged with frustration. We were separated, and then I thought she died. Having her in my life again, our children need both parents.

Grandfather Martin reached out and touched Darrian's shoulder, comforting yet firm. "I know, my dear boy. However, marriage is a sacred bond requiring more than love and children. It requires understanding, respect, and a shared vision for the future."

Darrian nodded, his grandfather's words sinking in. He understood that Grandfather Martin spoke from a place of profound wisdom and experience, his intentions rooted in a desire for Darrian's happiness.

"I understand, Grandfather," Darrian said quietly, his heart heavy with conflicting emotions. "I will take your words to heart. But I will begin plans for the wedding."

As they left Grandfather Martin's home, Darrian and Hannah walked in a heavy silence, his words lingering in the air. Darrian knew that a pivotal and honest conversation about their future, their relationship, and the true meaning of marriage was imminent.

With a renewed sense of determination and understanding, Darrian and Hannah embarked on a journey of self-reflection and introspection, knowing that their love would be tested in ways they had never imagined.

On their way home, they decided to go to the Penthouse for privacy and to discuss the meaning of marriage so they were in sync.

Darrian could feel Hannah's anger radiating off her, so he decided to deviate from taking her home and instead took her to the penthouse, where they could talk things over and release some steam. He knew just how to distract her. They entered the building and walked to their private elevator. Darrian embraced Hannah tightly as it descended, inhaling her fragrance and placing tiny butterfly kisses on her neck and chin. She shuddered in anticipation. His lips found hers for a languid kiss. She held on dearly to her man and kissed him until she felt her body was weak. By the time they knew it, the ride ended too quickly for their liking. As the elevator door opened, Darrian picked up Hannah and carried her to the bed.

He was determined to make her realise she couldn't live without him. She would only be malleable enough to discuss his grandfather's disapproval of her as his bride. Because of the implications, this was the only topic she could not discuss with Darrian. She promised herself she would tell him one day soon.noveldrama

He moulded her to his body, feeling her vibrate with tension. Darrian gently massaged her entire body, trying to ease the knots of stress that had built up within her. And then, in a flurry of passion and desire, he made wild love to her, their bodies entwined in a dance of longing and connection. Darrian kissed her lips and breasts. He loved Hannah's full breasts since she gave birth to the children. She was endowed with ample breasts. He cupped each one as he brought the nipples one at a time to his mouth. Then he moved down her body and kissed every dip and angle until he placed his face on her sweet core. He licked her clits and lapped up her juices as she moved her hips. He put his member into her core as she was about to shout his name. The ride was rigorous but exciting and full of ecstasy. He allowed her to ride out her orgasm, and he executed his signature move; Hannah came again as she shouted his name. He kissed her as he called her name in grunts when he climaxed.

Darrian and Hannah lay facing each other in the soft glow of the evening light filtering through the curtains. He lifted her delicate fingers to his lips, kissing each one tenderly, thanking her for fulfilling all his desires. She smiled at him, her eyes filled with love, before leaning in to kiss him.

"You're awesome and handsome, just the way I like you," she whispered, her voice filled with affection.

After showering and getting dressed, they chatted about the events at Grandfather's house. Hannah mentioned she had a surprise for Grandfather but wanted to wait for the right moment to reveal it. Darrian reassured her, "Don't worry about Grandfather. Everything will fall into place."

Hannah hugged Darrian tightly as he pulled her onto his lap, cradling her in his arms while showering her with sweet kisses. She admitted that even though she was confident things would work out, Grandfather's disapproval sometimes made her sad. As they discussed their wedding plans, Darrian shared with her the symbolism and significance of a traditional Korean wedding. He wanted her to understand each aspect of their union and the traditions they would be embracing.

The love between Darrian and Hannah grew stronger with each passing moment, their bond deepening as they faced challenges together. Their journey was far from over, but they knew that as long as they had each other, they could overcome anything that came their way. She told him that she wanted a fun Korean wedding, which should be spectacular.

Hannah explained that she wanted to experience a 'Pyebaek' where they would respect their elders and receive parental blessings. Grandfather would have to give them both his blessings during this time. She asked that the wedding planner include all of the following areas. The wedding must be at Chouchoumonde, the most sought- after venue, and should be booked about eighteen months in advance. The decorations should be hanbok, paper lanterns, and paper cranes, bringing double happiness and symbolising longevity and fidelity. There must be traditional musicians and performers. The dishes must include bimibap, kimchi, and bulgogi, must be served. Hannah said there must be fireworks to end the wedding festivities. She explained that the children would learn about their culture through this wedding experience. The favours must be traditional tea sets engraved with their names and the wedding date. The wedding must be video to have memories for old age.

Darrian was taken aback; he did not realise that Hannah was such a traditionalist. She would design their suits, and no one would them until the wedding day. He spent time making notes of Hannah's desires and sending the information to the wedding planner. She asked him to use Elisa's wedding planner because she worked closely with her. The Chouchoumonde belongs to her family, so Hannah believed that the wait time for the venue would decrease.

With the plans made, they dressed and drove home, each in their world pensively rolling the ideas in their minds, wondering what the future holds for the little family. My Beloved Readers,
