Chapter 214
Looking shocked, Simon felt a surge of anger within him. "Are you kicking me out
of Refined Threads Co.? You ingrate! My dad saved Jacob's life! You're an
ungrateful bitch! You should have been run over by a car!"
Without warning, he was slapped in the face and instantly saw stars.
Janice gasped in shock. "Edward?"
Edward moved his arm with a cold flicker in his eyes. Then, he delivered a few more punches to Simon.
His expression was eerily cold. "Looks like the Jovarek siblings haven't cured you of your habit of yelling."
After that, he ordered his bodyguards, "Leave him on the side of the road. Let him crawl around the ground. Remember to contact the media so that they can film it."
"Got it."
Simon was utterly dumbfounded. He still hadn't come to his senses when they dragged him out.
"Wait a minute," Edward suddenly called out.
The bodyguards froze, awaiting his orders.
Edward grabbed the bank card from the coffee table and tossed it onto Simon's face.
"Keep that money safe for him."
Edward didn't want Janice to have anything more to do with Simon.
Janice had seen Edward beating Simon up before, but Edward had never been this emotional. Every time Edward was in a fight with Simon, it was to defend Janice.
She went over and held his hand.
Edward lowered his gaze and saw the pout on her face. His expression stiffened. "Do you think I was too hard on him?"
"Not at all." She gently patted his chest. "Don't be mad."
Janice was such a multi-faceted woman-she could be sweet and feisty.
When Edward entered her office, he overheard her telling Simon to get out of her company. It was a side of her that was rarely seen. She looked like a stranger when she acted cold and unfeeling.
"Don't ruin your reputation because of him. You have many more ways to mess with him." Janice already had a plan by now. The first step was to kick Simon out of Refined Threads Co.
"Trust me won't lose out anymore. Ever since I had a fallout with Simon, I'll think twice before making a move I won't make stupid, rash decisions. Don't worry about that," Janice coaxed him.
She then asked, "So, what brings you here?"noveldrama
"Marie told me you were gonna kick Simon out of the company. Since I was on
the road, I dropped by to check on you in case he tried to cause a scene."
All the employees in Refined Threads Co. had started to gossip about the situation. Was Janice truly in a relationship with Edward from Prosper Stitch Group?
That would explain it as Refined Threads Co. didn't have any business dealings with Prosper Stitch Group.
"Don't worry. I can take care of it." Janice changed the topic to discuss work. "Were you trying to help me out when you gave some of your customer orders to Refined Threads Co.?"
Edward bent over and gave her a hug. He explained warmly, "You need to buy back the majority of your company's shares. It's a tough battle, but I'll help you."
A company with too many decision-makers would be too decentralized. The executive chairperson would slowly lose his or her influence.
Edward was a talented businessman, but he worked his way up very slowly because he refused to take in any shareholders. He wanted to build his wealth on his own.
Besides, a crocheting business
required no major investments. All he ever spent on was the purchase of crocheting materials. Unlike companies in the finance sector, he did not need a huge startup capital.
In the later stages, Prosper Stitch Group had overcome their major challenges.
Many companies were eager to invest in them.
What do you think?
