Chapter 1509 Due to Illness, Out of Control
Noah and Sadie had this unspoken connection. They didn't need to say much or ask a lot of questions; they just understood each other.
After hanging up the phone, Noah turned to see Mary, Emma, and Donna in tears, and Micah looking like he was in pain. He didn't jump in right away.
"Uncle Micah is so mean!"
"Uncle Micah isn't fun anymore!"
"Uncle Micah is the worst!"
"We don't like Uncle Micah anymore!"
"I'm telling Aunt Sadie you were mean to us!"
"I'm telling Daddy!"
"And I'm telling Mommy!"
Mary, Emma, and Donna were crying and accusing Micah, their voices getting louder.
Micah closed his eyes, took a deep breath, and softened his tone.
"Okay, I was wrong. I shouldn't have yelled at you. I just don't like people climbing on my shoulders and pulling my hair."noveldrama
"We used to do that all the time, and you never got mad. You were happy," Mary pouted, clearly upset.
"You used to bend down and let us sit on your shoulders. You'd tell us that if we were afraid of falling, we should hold on tight. We would grab your hair, ears, or collar, and you never got mad," Emma said, her eyes filled with tears.
"Today you yelled at us and even said you'd spank us. Even my grumpy daddy isn't that mean!" Emma continued.
"Yeah, even my bad daddy never spanked us," Donna said, clenching her little fists in anger. "We even went to get Mommy and Daddy to help you, and you're just a big meanie!"

Micah's mouth twitched, and he looked like he wanted to say something but couldn't.
"Daddy, this time you were really wrong," Nathan finally spoke up, his voice soft. "You used to be so kind to them, no matter how much they misbehaved. What happened today?"
"Yeah, Daddy," Noah said, looking deeply at Micah. "If I hadn't stopped you, you really would have spanked them. They're Uncle Tristan's kids, and even he never spanked them. If you had, Uncle Tristan would probably come after you."
Micah closed his eyes tightly, as if trying to control his emotions. He gripped his shirt and told himself to hold on, to endure.
"Daddy, what's wrong?" Nathan asked, looking at Micah with concern. "You never used to hit kids. Are you feeling unwell lately, and that's why you're so easily angered?"
"Maybe," Micah's expression softened a bit as he looked at Nathan. "I've been sick, and it's getting harder to control my emotions."
"Don't worry, Daddy," Nathan said, wrapping his small arms around Micah in a tight hug. "Mommy is trying to find a doctor to help you get better. You'll be okay."

Hearing this, the wariness and hostility in Noah's eyes wavered, and he began to think deeply.
He suddenly remembered that sick people sometimes act out of character and lose control.
Micah had shown signs of forgetfulness before.
After the fire, his condition might have worsened. It was normal for him to forget how
he used to interact with Mary, Emma, and Donna.
Even his irritation with Nathan could be due to his illness.
Maybe Micah was just sick and tired, and that was why he was acting this way?
"Thank you, Nathan," Micah said, patting Nathan's back gently. "I'm sorry. My mind hasn't been right lately, and I've been doing strange things. You must be so disappointed in me."
"I'll get better. Once I'm well, we can play together again."
