As she fiddled with his hand, Victoria turned over and rolled. From the pulling

force, Trevor followed her into the water. He tugged at her with one hand and held the swimming ring with the other as if to care for a child. He watched her flopping around in the water like a duck.

In fact, Victoria knew how to swim, but as a result of the leg injury and being kept locked up by Trevor all the time as well as Waverly's recent unexpected gloominess, she could not help but be intimidated by water. Just like before going into the water, Victoria went to the center of the swimming ring with her calves dangling in the water. While Trevor swam, he pushed the swim buoy in the direction of the shore.

As they moved slowly, the duo would exchange glances and smile from time to time, or stop to talk for a while. Half prone and crouched to hold the neck of the flamingo swim buoy, Victoria smiled with curved eyebrows.

It was like when her father had led her to the pool to play around with water for the first time when she was a child! Back then, she had held onto the swimming ring tightly because she had been afraid, but right then, it was a sweet enjoyment.

A blissful marriage was when the husband would treat the wife as his daughter. Was that how she was feeling right then?

Looking back all of a sudden, Victoria realized that they had been married for almost three years, but right then, only then did they feel that they were a couple, growing more attached to each other.

When she came to herself in a trance, she was standing by the shore. Right then, Trevor was wiping the water drops on her body with a large towel, rubbing her little face but also pulling at her hair.

"The man is gentle, but he's a little stupid!" Victoria scowled to herself.

Taking over the towel, Victoria helped wipe him in return while giggling.

As soon as he glanced at the phone, he heard her laughter. Raising his gaze, Trevor stared at her for three seconds. "Why are you laughing?"

Was she possessed?

Pursing her lips, Victoria gave him an eye roll. Were his eyes decorations? Couldn't he tell that she was in high spirits?

Confused, Trevor shot her a puzzled gaze.

"Hm?"

Victoria rubbed his arm twice with force and mumbled, "I don't know who's the silly one."

The next second, she leaned against his straight and strong body. "I suddenly feel that an awful beginning can have a beautiful future as well. I'm happy, very much so! It's as if I'm dreaming!"

Life was like playing chess. No matter how terrible things were, there was hope as long as one persevered! Although the process might be a little complicated, it was a smooth ending, wasn't it?

After all, she was lucky!

"Honey, do you regret that there is a change in your partner?"

She had no idea if they were considered to have developed feelings for each other after getting along for a long time, but Victoria suddenly realized that the true meaning of marriage did not lie within the right person. Trevor raised his hand and pinched her cheek affectionately.

"Vicky, we all have pasts. No matter if it's a misunderstanding or an accident, it's all over. Fate brought us together as a couple. Since God has arranged for us to make it up till today, we should cherish our relationship, shouldn't we?"

Taking her hand, Trevor kissed her heavily on the back of her hand. "I have no regrets. I'm afraid that if I miss out on you again, that will be the biggest regret in my life!"

He had to say that it was fate that played tricks on Selena, but since he had missed out on her and chosen Victoria, he would not be a womanizer. In the past, he had some feelings left for Selena, but right then, they were cleared by Selina herself. How could she be compared with Victoria?

Looking up, Trevor wanted to ask, "What about you?"

happened. Trevor knew that the man on that day was most likely Anthony.
